Gaz Beadle and Emma McVey reveal gender of their baby

Geordie Shore star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle and his model girlfriend Emma McVey shocked their fans last month when they announced they were expecting their first child, and now the couple have revealed their baby's gender.
Gaz, who racked up a party boy reputation during his time on the hit MTV reality show, announced his news to OK! Magazine by telling fans the couple are expecting a baby boy!
He said, "It's a boy, I can't wait to have a little mate." Gaz also revealed what he thinks his son will be like, he added, "I think he’ll be hyper! He’ll have lots of energy."
Gaz teased fans recently by posting a Snapchat video of the couple's baby scan. Scanning the camera around the room, Gaz hid the baby scan on the monitor with a baby face emoji.
Gaz, who has appeared on Geordie Shore as an original cast member since 2011, first announced the news he is going to be a father back in August.
Sharing a photo of himself with his arms around his girlfriend, Gaz wrote, 'SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY... @Emmamcvey 😱❤️👶🏼👫' sic
He later shared a photo of a baby scan, a dummy and a pair of baby shoes with the caption, 'Meet my baby wow that sounds so crazy....... can't believe I am going to be a dad..... I am soooo excited ❤️👶🏼' sic
Just a few hours after the announcement, the dad-to-be filmed himself on Snapchat thanking fans for their kind messages and revealed his excitement at becoming a dad.
He said, "It means so much, all the messages on Instagram and Twitter. I'm going to be a dad, honestly I could not be more excited. I can't wait, I'm ready for it, I'm so excited. I love kids, I always have and I feel like this is the right time. I thought I'd be scared but I'm not."
Despite most fans of Gaz and Emma being over the moon for the couple, some harsh online trolls have sent Emma some vile messages telling her she is 'too skinny'.
Emma has posted a number of photos of herself since announcing her pregnancy, and she's recently received some harsh criticism with comments like, 'Your neck looks so skinny! Please start eating'.
Baby Beadle is expected to arrive later in the year.
