Cheryl responds to rumours she's making first appearance since giving birth
She welcomed a baby boy last month
It's only been 4 weeks since Cheryl and Liam Payne welcomed their first child into the world but rumours have been circulating that new mum Cheryl is set to make her first public appearance since the birth in the coming weeks.
It had been rumoured that the former** Girls Aloud star **was set to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for her role with L'Oreal Paris, but now the rumours have been shut down by the brand.
As a brand ambassador for L'Oreal Cheryl has attended the event for the last seven years alongside the likes of actress Eva Longoria and is 'contractually obliged' to make an appearance at the glamorous event.
However the new mum won't be in attendance this year. A spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris said, "Having only given birth less than one month ago, Cheryl will not be attending Cannes Film Festival 2017 with L’Oreal Paris."

Since announcing the birth of their little boy, both Cheryl and Liam have kept their family life private and off social media.
Fans are eager to get a glimpse of baby Payne and continue to urge both parents on social media to reveal the little one's name.

However fans of the pair were sent into overdrive earlier in the week when Cheryl's hair stylist Daya Ruci posted a video and photo to his Snapchat of what looked like a newborn baby boy.
Fans were quick to express their excitement that it could be baby Payne in the snap, but others believed the baby in question to be 'too big' for such a one month old baby.

Meanwhile former One Direction star Liam is out in America reportedly putting the final touches to his debut solo album.
Whilst out in LA, Liam has been chatting to fans about his new arrival and according to one excited fan on Twitter, Liam told him how much he's missing his son whilst being away.
A fan with the Twitter name @Paynelessly uploaded a snap of himself and Liam and later admitted the singer told him, "He's great, he's good. I love him and I miss him a lot" - @LiamPayne talking about his son."
