Cheryl delights fans as she breaks year-long social media silence
Cheryl is back!
Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl has been keeping a low profile for the last year, spending some precious time with her son Bear Grey Payne during lockdown. But now, over one year after she last posted, Cheryl has delighted her fans by sharing a brand new selfie on Instagram.
The 37-year-old shared two new photos with her 3.5 million followers, one of herself glowing, and another alongside her team, including her brother Garry Tweedy and her PA Lily England.
Cheryl captioned the shot with: 'We back ✌🏼 **all covid tested ✅'. (sic)
Clearly delighted to see their idol back in the spotlight, fans were quick to comment on the stunning new photo, with Cheryl's celebrity friends also expressing their love.
The mum-of-one's The Greatest Dancer co-star Alesha Dixon wrote: 'Missed you @cherylofficial ❤️', with Louise Redknapp adding: '❤️'.
Another fan wrote: 'oh my goodness 😍😍😍😍😍😍', with another writing: 'OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH'. A third then wrote: 'Oh hello stranger 😍😍😍😍'.
Another excited fan then added: 'Finalllllyyyyy😍😍😍😍😍'. (sic)
Although Cheryl hasn't alluded to what her comeback could be, fans will be hoping for some brand new music, after the singer released her last solo single back in May 2019, with the track 'Let You'.
Cheryl has remained silent on social media for the last year, with her last post coming on 2nd June 2020 in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign.
The 'Fight For This Love' singer did delight her fans earlier on in lockdown last year, sharing a cute video of her four-year-old son Bear speaking.
