Richard told the audience on this morning's show, "I can officially announce that after a year off Ant will start filming on the new series of BGT. Can you believe it's come around again? Oh how the time flies.
He continued, "They're reuniting on Friday for the auditions of course, getting underway in London on Friday before the rest of the BGT continue their search for talent next month."
Co-host Susanna Reid then added, "And he'll Ant still clean up next week at the National Television Awards," referring to the nomination that Ant has received for Best Presenter at the awards ceremony.
Ant and Dec have been crowned the winners of the National Television Award for Best Presenter award since the show first started way back in 2001, but now, after nearly a year without Ant presenting, Dermot O'Leary has spoken out about Ant's nomination saying, "If Ant and Dec win it this year, we should just not do it anymore. If they win it, we may as well just chuck in the towel."
He told the Daily Star, "With the greatest respect to the boys, I think Holly Willoughby has had such a great year, and Graham Norton."
The award show's host later explained that Ant and Dec made the decision to be put up for the award together.
