Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda and Clive Owen were left both shocked and devastated back in June, as the couple announced they'd split following a 22-year marriage.

The couple, who share nine children together, released a statement at the time and now Amanda has appeared on ITV Daytime show Lorraine to discuss how she's been handling life since the split.

Speaking to stand-in host Christine Lampard on Thursday morning's show about going through a divorce whilst being on TV, Amanda said: “It’s really tough, and it’s a really difficult aspect of it to get across – but when you do reality TV, it has to be just that."

The 48-year-old added: “It covers the ups and downs and that could be on any level so, you know, life carries on. On the farm there’s a whole raff of things to do, nine children, a whole heap of animals; we’re just working away the same as before.

“At the end of the day, our priority remains, of course, to keep everything going.

"There you go, that's how it is. I felt like that needed to be out there so that people... There are new projects going on. There are exciting projects going on."

'Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.

'We would like to thank everyone for their support and would ask that the media please respect our privacy as we work through this difficult time.

Why did they split?

Months after the split was announced, Amanda opened up about the pair's reasoning, also revealing the challenges they are experiencing co-parenting nine children.

Speaking to Radio Times, Amanda said: "Look, there are two simple facts: if he thought I was brilliant, and I thought he was brilliant, then we wouldn’t have separated.

“It’s a fact, isn’t it? But, you know what, that’s not unique, it’s just how things are, pressures, all the rest of it.

“But we have nine kids, with associated friends, girlfriends, and we just have to get on with it.”
