Alex and Steven Gerrard welcome fourth child and reveal cute name
Congratulations!
Former Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard and his wife Alex have welcomed their fourth child together, a baby boy.
The proud dad took to Instagram to share their news and confirmed they'd decided to call their first son Lio George Gerrard.
Sharing a graphic to his followers which read 'It's a boy', Steven captioned the shot with, 'Lio George Gerrard was born this morning at 4.55am . Both are doing great . Our family is complete ❤️'
The couple are yet to share any photos of their new baby boy.
Steven and Alex already share three children together. After marrying during a luxury ceremony in Buckinghamshire in 2007, the couple have since welcomed three daughters, Lily-Ella in 2004, Lexie in 2006 and Lourdes in 2011.
The happy couple announced they were expecting their fourth child back October 2016 in a sweet tweet composed by Alex.
Taking to Twitter the model shared a picture of her three daughters all holding an ultrasound scan with the caption, ‘We are all very excited for our new baby to arrive next year!! Number 4’.
