TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Prime Video x HITS RADIO ON-AIR Scotland Evening Promo COMPETITION –” (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS There will be one competition per day during the times laid out in Section .3 across the Hits Radio Scotland Network during the Evening Show with Callum Galagher.

Entries are restricted to one (1) per person per competition round.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN There will be one 1 winner of the on-air competition, each day from Monday to Thursday (who will receive one of the prizes as described in Prize 5.0).

The competition will contest on from Monday 30th September until Thursday 3rd September 2024 on Hits Radio Scotland from 20:00 -22:00 with 1 competition round per day as outlined below (4 competition rounds in total).

THE ON AIR COMPETITION AND HOW TO WIN

• The competition will air on the days stated above and within the time frames highlighted. Exact timings will be given by the presenter on each day. These exact timings may differ from the previous day. It is at the discretion of the Hits Production Team when the competition will play on-air. Please note, the competition may be recorded at a different time to when it plays out on-air.

• When the studio lines open, anyone wishing to take part in the competition should call the Hits Radio number (highlighted in section 1) within the allotted timeframe given on air by the presenter (See section 3). Any calls received after the studio lines have closed, will not be accounted for within the draw (See section 3).

• Any correspondence whether it’s texting the studio or speaking to a member of the production team does not guarantee that you will win the prize. A winner is declared once the competition has played out fully on-air and the winner is announced on-air during the showtimes.

• One caller will be chosen at random by electronic draw from those that get through to the studio during the competition times each day.

THE GAME:

• The presenter will ask three questions based on the TV series The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power. An option between two answers (a) and (b) for each question will be given to the entrant. They will then have to pick an answer. If they get 1 answer correct, they will win Prize (1), if they get two answers correct, they will win Prize (2), if they get 3 answers correct, they will win a choice between Prize (3), (4) and (5).

• Prizes are detailed below in section 5.

All final decisions will rest with the Hits Radio Production Team.

If the contestant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, they will be disqualified, and this may be communicated after the on air execution completes via email. ENTRY PERIOD Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

The competition will take place on Monday 30th September, Tuesday 1st October, Wednesday 2nd October and Thursday 3rd October in the evening show between 20:00 and 22:00.

Exact timings of the competition within this broader timeframe will be given on air by the presenter.

Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.

Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown of the winner(s) may be announced on-air.

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS • Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Valid identification containing proof of address must be provided to claim the prize.

• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

• If anyone has won a competition on any Bauer Media brand (see point below) to the value of £500 or more in the past 6 months, they or any person at the winning address will not be eligible to win the competition.

• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. • Local activity of the winner’s choosing

• Dinner at a local family-friendly restaurant, up to the total value of £150 including gratuity

Terms & Conditions:

• Prize Packages for four (4) people are for two (2) adults and two (2) children under 16 years old, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;

• At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission;

• Travel expenses are included up to the total value of £100, which can be spent on petrol/parking or travel by public transport;

• At least one person travelling must be over the age of 18, where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission;

• Standard class train travel within mainland UK to London only;

• Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room in London; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;

• The prize excludes transfers from winner’s home to train station, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;

• All elements of the prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and equal monetary value may be offered at the prize provider’s discretion;

• Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;

• Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;

• Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available;

• Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (22nd December – 3rd January), or UK Bank Holidays;

• Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time;

• For the climb of iconic London venue, climbers must be at least 1.2m tall and not weigh more than 21 stone, specific measurements will be provided upon booking; Specific term and restrictions may apply and will be advised upon booking;

• Dinner and drinks at the specified restaurant are provided to the value of £75 per person, including service charge;

• All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older;

• If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package;

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. The prize will be fulfilled by Element London Ltd. Bauer Media is not responsible for any part of this prize.

OTHER CONDITIONS

DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. For SMS entries you automatically consent to receive marketing. You may opt out at any time by texting the word STOP to the relevant text shortcode number. If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, then your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.

• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.

• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.

• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
