Rhino Rally Team

The Forres and Aberdeen Based Rhino Rally team are happy to announce their plans for 2014 to include our Official partnerships with MFR and Northsound 1 Cash for Kids.

Rhino Rally Team will run their Vauxhall Astra Mk3 on selected rounds of both the ARR Craib Scottish Rally Championship (SRC) and the BLUE Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship (STRC). As well as the competitive side to the teams season we will also with our Official Charity partners be trying to raise funds to help disabled and disadvantaged Children across the North of Scotland. The car will be sporting a new Blue and white Colour Scheme Designed specifically with the Cash for Kids Charity in mind. To add to this livery you can contact the team via our Facebook page where you can add your name or the Name of a Loved one to the livery for £20, (£10 goes straight to Cash for Kids, the other £10 goes to assisting in getting the car to and from events in both the MFR and Northsound 1 Areas).

The teams first planned event will see Driver Phil taking the Car to the Scottish Capital for the DCC Stages rally at the Royal Highland show ground as a shakedown before Returning north with Gravel Co-Driver Gordon Clark to participate in the Aberdeen Based Granite City Rally in Late April. The team will then look to compete on a few Sprint events in the North of Scotland before the SRC returns north for the Speyside Stages Rally based from Elgin.

"Cash for Kids is an amazing charity supporting Children in our own local communities and it is for that reason Myself and the team are happy to be supporting such a good cause,’ Said team Driver Phil Coulby whilst unveiling the cars new colour scheme. ‘Rallying opens up the charity not only to the Spectators who come out and watch us but the average person on the street as we pass either on an event or travelling to and from events. As such we would love to raise £2500- £3000 to ensure that both MFR & Northsound 1 can help even more youngsters throughout the year."

The team however does have space on the car for a Main title sponsor to assist with not just our competitive action but also to allow us to take the Car and the Cash for Kids cause to as many events as possible in 2014.
