School Bus Bursts Into Flames Near Wick
The bus was carrying pupils on the way to Wick High School at the time.
A group of school children had a lucky escape after their bus caught fire near Wick.
The 49 seater vehicle was carrying pupils to Wick High School when it stopped on the A99 Quoys of Reiss this morning.
Emergency services arrived at the scene around 9:00am.
All passengers were evacuated from the bus before fire crews arrived.
It was completely destroyed by the blaze.
There were no reported injuries.
The children were picked up by a mini-bus and taken to their school.
It's not yet known how the fire started.
