LISTEN: Hunt For Inverness Flood Scheme Vandals
Vandals spray painted part of the flood defences in the city centre over the weekend.
Vandals have been condemned for spray painting obscene graffiti on the Inverness flood scheme.
Concrete walls and a nearby bridge were targeted in the attack at the weekend.
Police are appealing for information to help trace those responsible.
It's hoped they may have been captured on nearby CCTV cameras on Huntly Street.
Pictures taken by the local civic trust have sparked outrage online.

John West from the Inverness Civic Trust said: "People are very disappointed and very angry that this has happened.
"It's obviously someone that has done this mindlessly and they have to be caught.
"There is CCTV coverage of that area and I hope that will be handed to police for them to follow up."
A police spokesperson said: "At around 09:35 hours on Saturday 15 May 2015, Police Scotland received a report of vandalism from a member of the public, which consisted of graffiti in both the Huntly Street and Greig Street Bridge areas.
"The incident is thought to have occurred between 16:30 hours on Friday 15 May and 07:45 on Saturday 16 May 2015."
Anyone who saw anything in the area at the time is urged to contact police on 101.
