There’s disappointment if you're excited about Paolo Nutini coming to Inverness to perform at The Ironworks.

A local newspaper reported that the Paisley singer was to play the Highland Capital in aid of the Clutha trust.

Alan Crossan is the owner of Glasgow's Clutha Bar and is also in-charge of the charitable Trust set up in the wake of the helicopter tragedy there in 2013.

He's spoken exclusively to MFR News to say that the story is not true.
