Thousands of pounds worth of tools have been stolen from two farms in Moray.
The first incident is believed to have happened between 4.30pm on Monday and 7.30am on Tuesday at Glassgreen Farm in the Elgin area.
The stolen property included power tools, equipment and a large silver Ifor Williams trailer, with an estimated total value of a high four figure sum.
Police are also investigating a theft from Croftmore Farm in the Mulben area of Keith, which is believed to have happened between 8.30pm on Monday and 10:00am on Tuesday.
As a result of the incident, a quantity of power tools and equipment were stolen, valued at an estimated mid four figure sum.
Constable Morag Lawrence, who is investigating the latter crime, said: "Some of the stolen equipment would be heavy and it is likely that a vehicle was used to remove some of it. I would be interested to hear from anyone who may have seen a vehicle being driven in a suspicious manner in the area around the time of the break-in."
Anyone with information regarding either incident is asked to contact Police Scotland.
