Police say they've had a positive sighting of missing Hampshire man, Jason Gates, in Inverness.
The 36-year-old was caught on CCTV in Inverness city centre at the pedestrian crossing at Falcon Square just before 3pm on Monday 14th March 2016.
Jason's car, dog and jacket were subsequently traced in the Drumnadrochit area last week.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Jason in or around the Inverness area last week or since to make contact as a matter of urgency via 101.
Jason, originally from the Hampshire, was reported missing on Thursday 17th March.
He's described as being 6’3” in height, of slim build, with short, cropped greying hair with facial stubble. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing but he habitually wears black jeans, t-shirt and black padded jacket or tweed jacket and possibly walking boots.
As seen in the CCTV image, Jason could also be wearing a yellow jacket.
