One Direction Raise More Than £600k for Charity

One Direction have raised a massive £600,000 for charities while in the UK and Ireland

It has been revealed today that One Direction have helped to raise well over haf a million pounds for charities.

By donating 50p from the sale of each 'Where We Are' Tour ticket, the One Direction boys have helped raise well over £600,000 for campaigns including 'Stand Up For Cancer'.

The figure was revealed by 1D management the day after their final British date at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

£300k was raised from the ticket sales combined with a further £300k from the sale of tickets for the 'Niall Horan Charity Football Challenge’ which saw celebrities take on football players for a charity game last month.

One Direction have been ambassadors for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity since 2012 and regularly give up their time to help grants wishes for seriously ill children in the UK.
