Love Island’s Adam Maxted slammed for diet-shamming in McDonald’s joke
People were not happy with his comment
Love Island star Adam Maxted has been slammed on social media for seemingly shaming people who eat at McDonalds.
The model shared a snap of himself sitting inside of the fast food restaurant as he held a packet of protein and a shaker, but it was he caption which annoyed fans.
Alongside the shot he wrote ‘Sometimes I like going into McDonald’s to sit and have my protein shake…’.

After seeing the photo, Instagram users were quick to slam the reality star, one user wrote ‘I'd launch a Big Mac at his egotistical, tiny head’ with another adding ‘I'd walk over and rub a Big Mac all over his face’.
After receiving the abuse, Adam took to his Twitter account to write ‘I didn’t know I was good at winding people up… Get me on Impractical Jokers’ #canttakeajoke.
However, unfortunately for him, the tweet seemed to anger his followers even further.
After being shared over 25,000 times, Adam has now deleted the photo from his Instagram account.
Adam shot to fame in the summer when he appeared on the popular series of ITV’s Love Island. The fitness fanatic and wrestler often shares snaps of himself in the gym and promotes health and fitness on his account.
