Thousands of pounds worth of welding equipment has been stolen from an industrial unit in Buckie.

Thousands of pounds worth of welding equipment has been stolen from an industrial unit in Buckie.

The theft occurred sometime between Monday 16 March and Wednesday 18 March in the March Road East, industrial area of the town.

A vast number of electrical items and tools, including a Kemppi Evo 200 mig welder and a Honda 13hp welder/generator were stolen.

Welding equipment and industrial tools were also stolen from within the property.

Local investigating officer, PC Buchanan said: "I would urge anyone with information regarding this theft to come forward. I would also appeal to anyone who has been offered any items for sale, and who thinks it may be related to this theft, to contact Police Scotland".
