A teenager who was injured in an industrial accident has died.
A teenager who was injured in an industrial accident has died.
Michael McLean, 17, was seriously injured in the incident while working at oil services firm Denholm MacNamee in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, on Friday.
He died in hospital today.
Police are investigating the incident along with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
A statement read: Police Scotland can confirm that the man who was injured as a result of an industrial incident that occurred at a commercial premises in the Souterford Avenue area of Inverurie on Friday August 14 has died today.
We can confirm that the person who has died is Michael McLean, 17, from Aberdeen.
Inquiries are ongoing and officers are working alongside the HSE to investigate the circumstances of the incident.''
