Ross County boss Jim McIntyre believes the trip to Hamilton on Saturday offers the incentive needed to get their Premiership season back on track.
The Staggies have won only one of their last five matches and suffered last week when, after coming back from two down at home to St Johnstone, they conceded a last-gasp goal from a Dave Mackay free-kick.
However, County can leapfrog Accies into fifth place and McIntyre will put aside some frustration to focus on that outcome.
It is a great incentive for us,'' he said.
If we beat Hamilton we go above them so that is the only thing in my thoughts.
They have had some decent results lately and you have to handle their (artificial) surface but we have proved this season at Kilmarnock and even last season there, that we can cope with that no problem.
It would be less of a frustration if we weren't creating chances and having quite a bit of the games.
But it is a spell we are going through where when we make a mistake we are getting punished and we are not punishing other teams when we make chances.
So we have got to do better at both ends of the field and get back to winning ways.
You have to encourage the players to do the right things and they are certainly doing that within games.
We just need to improve the consistency.
We are still scoring goals, there are only two games we have not scored in this season so we need to get back to being resolute as a team, keeping the ball out and start taking more chances as well.
The first goal is crucial, we have to make sure that we give ourselves a chance and not having to come from behind, that is a big thing in football.''
