Elgin Taxi Driver Assaulted & Robbed
A 44 year old man was attacked and robbed of ÂŁ100's in the assault last night
Police in Elgin are hunting a man who attacked and robbed a taxi driver.
The 44 year old driver was assaulted in Linkwood Road around 11:00pm last night.
He suffered injuries to his face and was taken to hospital.
His attacker made off with ÂŁ100's and a mobile phone.
The suspect is described as aged between 20 to 30, 5 foot 6 tall.
He was wearing a light brown jacket, dark scarf and gloves.
Officers say he spoke with an Eastern European accent.
