We're making some changes to the way you listen to Metro Radio
Here's all the information you'll need
Here at Metro Radio, we're always looking to improve the way you listen to your favourite radio station (obviously, we're your favourite radio station, but we didn't need to tell you that). You'll now need to log in to listen to Metro on the website, app and Alexa-enabled devices.
What if I already have a Metro Radio account?
Great news! If you already have a Metro Radio or Planet Radio account, and you're logged in, you don’t need to do anything, as your account will remain automatically signed in and you can listen to the biggest hits, the biggest
How do I log in to Metro Radio to listen?
If you've already got an account, all you need to do is click the big 'sign in' button at the top right hand corner of the website, on the app, you will be prompted to sign in upon opening.
How do I create a Metro Radio account to listen?
If you are yet to make an account, on the browser you'll need to head to the ‘sign in’ button in the corner to create an account, or follow the instructions when prompted the next time you access the website or app.
What are the benefits to being logged in to Metro Radio?
We’re glad you asked! When you are logged in, we can offer you the best service possible. This includes full access to our on-demand content, ability to subscribe to our shows and be notified of new shows, plus you can also ‘Continue Listening’ by picking up where you left off, even if you are on a different device.
How will you be using my personal information?

I’d prefer not to create an account. Am I still able to listen?
If you’d like to listen to us online, you must create an account. You can still listen in all the other usual ways, including FM and DAB.

You can listen to Metro Radio on FM and on DAB with a low-cost DAB converter or adapter. Download the Metro Radio App on your phone, and connect to us via Bluetooth or USB connector, by typing in 'Metro Radio' to your App store and download the Metro Radio App for free.
