The British summer is unique, that's for sure! Us Brits just do not know how to handle the sun (or lack of), and here's the essentials you need for a summer here in the UK... Beer gardens.

Here are the ultimate post lockdown beer gardens for the North East!

The Tyne Bar

Since 1994, The Tyne has provided Newcastle with an eclectic blend of wonderful beer, great live music and innovative food mostly centred around the great outdoor spaces it commands.
Situated where the Ouseburn river/valley meets the River Tyne the pub has benches by the river, sun trap bench seats in-front of its red brick walls, a covered seating/stage area under the Glasshouse Bridge and for busy days more seating facing the River Tyne. Take a pew wherever, this is a must visit for anyone fancying a pint outside with great views and vibe.
They offer a wide selection of locally-brewed craft ales, continental lagers, spirits and wines. The food menu features everything from homemade burgers and gourmet hot dogs, to burritos, nachos and healthy salads – as well as daily specials and a different Free Food menu every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm.
