Over half the top 10 have an average house price of million pound

There are six roads in Tyne and Wear that are worth more than £1million and they're all in Newcastle upon Tyne, according to a new study by Zoopla.

Two of the top six are placed in Gosforth and are only a 10 minute walk away from each other.

Topping the list is the Runnymede Road, Ponteland, where the average house price is a staggering £1,261,943.

This is closely followed by Elmfield Park, Gosforth, which boasts an average house price of £1,177,799.

London topping the list, again

For the 13th year in a row, Kensington Palace Gardens (postcode W8) in London was identified as Britain's most expensive street, with homes there priced at nearly £29.9 million on average.

As for the rest of the list, all the other roads lay within the capital.
