Note of concern found in Newcastle park
Officers are appealing for the public’s help after a note of concern was found in a park in Newcastle.
The discovery was made by a member of public shortly before 5.50pm yesterday (Sunday) in a bush in Heaton Park near Park View Dental Practice.
The letter appears to have been written recently and the author mentions the death of their mother before signing off as ‘Sharon’.
Enquiries remain ongoing and the area continues to be searched however, officers are growing concerned for the author’s wellbeing and are now appealing to the public to help identify them.
The author, or anyone who may be able to assist police, is asked to contact police by dialling 999 and quoting reference number 734 27/06/21.
