Garden House Care Home in Spittal, Northumberland made one of their residents dreams come true over the Halloween weekend.

When 85 year old Aggie told them her goal was to meet her beloved Disney characters they set off on a 140mile round trip to Gateshead to make it happen.

Aggie was given VIP treatment and lots treats during the Let It Snow Productions Treat and Trail in Saltwell Park.

Aggie told us:

“The staff always read me my favourite Disney books and they even made me my own library! I always feel happy when they are read to me or if I watch one of the Disney films as I love all the characters. It was a dream come true to be able to meet all of them at Saltwell park - I had a brilliant day. Thank you to the staff at Garden House for arranging such a special day for me.”

Brooke Leete, owner and CEO of Let It Snow Productions said:

"Aggie was honestly the cutest, never seen such a smile, we're going to invite her back for our Christmas event"
