Newcastle's Central Motorway is now fully reopen.
Work to demolish a fire hit building in Newcastle City Centre was completed yesterday (Sun 23rd July).
You'll remember a derelict former club on Carliol Square went up in flames leaving the structure of the building unsafe. It was feared debris could fall onto the Central Motorway so emergency services and the council decided to partially close the Northbound carriageway.
That building has now been brought down by the Council
As of yesterday the partial closure of the A167(M) has ended.
It should make the commute to and from Newcastle a bit easier.
