It's feared a new feature on iPhones will lead to 100's of cases of so called "Scrinching"

In simple terms Scrinching is Screen Pinching, where somebody goes onto your social media account and steals your photos.

But in the latest update to iPhones a new screen video'ing feature was released - so any video you post online can now be copied

Durham blogger Helena Blakemore has been a victim, when a photo of her young son was taken from her Instagram and reposted by someone else;

“I only found out about it because he tagged me, who’s to say somebody else hasn’t taken another photo and put it on their account,

But she’s not sure there’s anything the government or internet companies could do to stop this:

“What could they do? It’s controlling the internet, nobody really wants that level of control on the internet, you want to be able to do what you want to be able to do, and be able to share it and use your photos.”
