We're being told Sunderland station could be closed all week - after serious flooding there.

No trains are running between St Peters and South Hylton in either direction on the Metro.

There's also ongoing substation repair at Pallion

The 901 bus replacement will run between Park Lane and South Hylton in both directions.

Train times may differ from the advertised timetable due to Network Rail having to regulate the service at St Peters.

Passengers are being urged to leave extra time for any journey where possible.

Tyne & Wear Metro has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
