Man charged with Whitley Bay murder

Police investigating the murder of a man in Whitley Bay have charged a man.

Detectives investigating the case have charged a 25 year old man from Whitley Bay with murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 22.

The body of Matthew Davis, who was 39, and from North Parade in North Tyneside was found in his home on Friday evening (March 17).
