The Comedy Festival has an Awesome line-up

The North East’s premier comedy festival is back The cream of British comedy will descend on Tyneside this June as Jesterval Comedy Festival returns.

With over 30 shows in a star-studded line up, Jesterval 2015 will take place in a 300‐seater marquee on Baltic Square, at the heart of the Gateshead Quays development, from the 5th to the 14th of June.

Gavin Webster, Sara Pascoe, Jason Cook, Chris Ramsey, Lili La Scala, Kate Lucas, Mick Ferry, Jimmy Cricket, Boy with Tape on his Face, Andrew Maxwell, and Paul Foot are just some of the standout names in the programme.

Hebburn creator Jason Cook will be performing with old mate and co-star Chris Ramsey and Catchphrases Roy Walker will be joined his son Phil.

Ticket prices for the Festival range from £5 to £13, with a number of free performances. However, most are just £5, with shows from Patrick Monahan, Daniel Sloss, Kai Humphries, Seymour Mace, Nicola Mantalios-Lovett, Matt Reed, and Lost Voice Guy, to name just a few.

For those who like their comedy totally unscripted, there’s the Improv Comedy All Stars show, featuring Steve Frost, Steve Steen, Andy Smart, and Ian Coppinger. There’s plenty of family entertainment too, with kids shows and activities taking place on the weekends.

This will be the third year at Baltic Square for the festival, which is growing every year.
