Family Of Missing Sunderland Man 'Sick With Worry'

A friend of a missing Sunderland man say they're sick with worry.

Jody Grey is a family friend of Callum Young who has been missing for 11 days now.

The 22 year old was last seen in a bedsit in Hylton Road on Thursday August 27th.

Jody says she's now helping Callum's mum in the desperate search for him.

In a plea to him she said; "Callum please, please come home. Just let your mum know that your ok. They're in total bits, just please please get in touch. We are out looking for you every day me and your mum"

Northumbria Police say are continuing to appeal for the public's help in tracing him.

Chief Inspector Dave Willett, said: "Its now been more than a week since Callum was last seen and understandably his family are increasingly concerned for him and want to know he is ok.

"We've been carrying out enquiries to trace him and will continue to do so, the public's help is crucial to us and we want to hear from anyone who may have information that can help us find Callum.

"If anyone has seen him over the past week, or saw him before he went missing we would ask they get in contact with us."
