Investigations are continuing into the death of a 22 year old man in Jarrow which has sparked a drugs warning about bright orange pills.

Police say anyone who has them or is offered them should hand them in and not consider taking them.

Post mortem tests took place yesterday as part of the investigation into the man's death.

Police were told he'd taken ecstasy, became unwell and was taken to hospital where he later died.

As well as getting the pills off the streets officers are also appealing for information about who has supplied them – they've now referred the case to the IPCC.
