An 11-year-old boy has died in a crash in Newcastle.
An 11-year-old boy has died in a crash in Newcastle.
He was hit by a bus in Whickham View, close to the Excelsior Academy on Wednesday (11th February) afternoon.
Police and paramedics attended and the boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed. Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 689 11/02/15.
