Man found with stab wounds outside Gateshead school
Police in Gateshead will continue to question a 32 year old man today (Mon 5th June) in connection with an alleged stabbing.
It comes after a nurse found another 32 year old man with stab injuries to his legs outside Heworth Grange School around 8:45am yesterday (Sun 4th)
The man was rushed to hosptial where he remains.
A man is in custody on suspicion of unlawful wounding.
Northumbria Police say:
"It is believed the two men are known to each other and there is no identified risk to the public at this time,"
