There will be two opportunities to ring in the New Year this year as Newcastle City Council has announced a double celebration for Tuesday 31 December.

Everyone come along to enjoy our entertainment from 5pm and secure a good vantage point to see the display. Newcastle’s New Year’s Eve family fireworks, which has become a tradition for many, will again be taking place outside the Civic Centre from 6pm.

And if you’re out celebrating later on, head down to Newcastle’s Quayside to enjoy the midnight fireworks against the magnificent backdrop of our iconic bridges.

This event is run in conjunction with NE1, Newcastle’s Business Improvement District and has been made possible with financial contributions from local businesses.
