Who could forget the iconic sight of Kylie and Jason’s wedding on Neighbours? The dress… the mullet…
And it was more than just a teenage TV memory for South Shields’ Rachel Taylor-Topping after her groom Adam decided to recreate the scene for their own wedding day as they starred in Channel 4's Don’t Tell The Bride.
In the hit TV show the grooms are given £12,000 to plan the entire wedding day in just three weeks – with no contact between them and their bride until the big day.
Aussie born Adam wanted to recreate a bit of his homeland for the wedding, to remember his dad – who passed away when Adam was younger.
Rachel admitted on the show she’d love a traditional country house wedding, rather than a church, and definitely not a 'poofy' dress - which was exactly what she got!

Rachel and Adam met three years ago, during a rapping competition Adam was taking part in and while she admits it wasn’t exactly love at first sight, a year later they’d moved in together, followed by a proposal.
