Liam Payne Slams The Kooks' Luke Pritchard For 1D Rant
Pritchard hit out at 1D fans on Twitter
Liam Payne has slammed Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard after he verbally attacked One Direction on Twitter.
The fallout started when Luke blasted on Twitter: "5 Little Things We Learned From One Direction's Album Release Party... stop this malfunction. world realign please. artists dying."
A fan then responded to Luke claiming she loved 1D and The Kooks, which seemed to get him riled even more.
He responded to her: "Do not like what I do. I'd rather anyone who likes One Direction never follow me. You literally have no idea who upset I am."
Luke continued: “How can you be a fan of something that has no life? I honestly feel so depressed that you are into Kooks."
"Hahah I'm so drunk. F**k it. I'm looking at what is there, seriously!! Is that what we have? Please buy real music... Rant in emin over.”
Luke later deleted the Tweets claiming he was inebriated when he made the outburst, but Liam Payne took the opportunity to slam the frontman for the comments.
Backtracking, Luke responded to the 1D star: “Man, I regret having a rant but the machinery of the industry p****s me off. I respect you do your thing."
One Direction’s third album ‘Midnight Memories’ is out now. It’s currently number one on the Midweek Chart and on course to be the fastest selling record of 2013.
