They wowed the audience and judges back in 2017, and now, after a successful year in music, last year's winners on The X Factor, Rak-Su, have been giving advice to this year's finalists. As we're just a few days away from the final, we caught up with Rak-Su backstage at Hits Live.

When asked what advice they would give to the finalists, Ashley Fongho, Mustafa Rahimtulla, Myles Stephenson and Jamaal Shurland revealed they would say "keep pushing", as the finalists have put so much time and effort into getting so far in the show.

They also agreed they should "enjoy every moment" before explaining that they should also think about their longevity, and what they'll do after the show.

Rak-Su were crowned winners of The X Factor 2017 ahead of Grace Davies and Kevin Davy White, who was in third place. The four-piece male vocal group from Watford, performed 'Dimelo' at the final, with GRAMMY Award winning rapper Wyclef Jean.

During the interview with Rak-Su, they were asked about Simon Cowell's house and if any of them had visited it. Which is when it all got a bit awkward! It turns out that whilst Myles was on holiday, the others visited The X Factor judge's house!

Since winning The X Factor, Rak-Su have supported Little Mix on tour and released their single, 'I Want You To Freak'. When the music video dropped, it showed off Rak-Su's amazing moves as they danced around the stunning scenery in the Caribbean.

Now take a look at where The X Factor winners are now:

Steve Brookstein, series one, 2004

Things went downhill super quickly after the high of winning the first ever series of The X Factor, and Steve's still bitter… even now, 12 years later. He's written a book about it called Getting Over The X. Come on now Steve, perhaps you should give it a read.
These days he's more into childish rants on Twitter about, well, pretty much everything except making music. He did release an album in 2014, and just to show he's moved on he called it Forgotten Man. It didn't chart.
