When the Spice Girls announced their 2019 tour, Jess Glynne was also announced as their support act, so when we caught up with the 'Thursday' singer recently we couldn't help but ask her about the tour with one of the biggest girl groups around.

Speaking ahead of her performance in Liverpool, Jess revealed that she couldn't wait to get on tour with the girls, confessing that she'd had to keep the whole thing strictly under wraps.

Saying that her manager called her whilst she was on a video shoot for her brand new single 'Thursday' when she found out the news, Jess added that she'd had to grab her friend just so that she could tell someone!

But Jess also revealed that there was only one thing that persuaded her to join the tour – the thought of hanging out and spending time with the Spice Girls... Every girl's dream!

"The whole point of me doing this is so that I can hang out with them," she joked. "I'm not doing it for any other reason!"

Speaking about joining them on the tour, she said, "I'm so excited. I wasn't allowed to tell anyone. It was an amazing moment!", revealing that she'd been a huge Spice Girls fan as a young girl and that she had ALL the memorabilia.

She even confessed which Spice Girls she felt the most close to, "I would have been Scary Spice or Ginger Spice because I had the big hair, so I would have been either one of those."
