A South Shields man has been charged with sending threats to Labour MP Luciana Berger.
A South Shields man has been charged with sending death threats to Labour MP Luciana Berger.
The MP for Wavertree reported a number of malicious emails to police last week.
John Nimmo, 28, of Moreland Road, South Shields has been charged with send letter/communication causing anxiety/distress.
He appeared at South Tyneside Magistrates court yesterday morning where an indicated plea of guilty was given.
Northumbria Police have confirmed they are working closely with Merseyside Police.
