Searches Continue for Missing Hebburn Man

Police are carrying out enquiries and searches in connection with missing man, 24 year-old Craig Millward from Hebburn. Craig left Popworld in Newcastle City Centre at around 12.05am in the early minutes of Tuesday, May 5. We have a sighting of Craig a short time later at 1.30am, on Green Lane in Gateshead, he was seen walking towards the cycle path on the riverside. Police and search and rescue officers have been carrying out searches in this area during Thursday. Officers have also been carrying out house to house enquiries to speak to residents to ask if they have seen Craig.

!Officers carrying out searches around Felling Industrial Estate Superintendent Ged Noble said:

"We are doing all we can to try and locate Craig. His family are increasingly worried and want to hear from him to ensure he is safe. We're also appealing for anyone who may have seen Craig after he left Popworld to contact police straightaway. We want to hear from anyone who has any information about where he is." Craig is described as 5ft 9inches tall, medium build with short dark curly hair. He was wearing black trousers, a white shirt and a dark denim jacket with a fur collar. He wears black thick rimmed glasses. Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him as concerns are increasing for his welfare.
