Kian Musgrove's family make fresh appeal as money starts to run out

The family of a sick toddler from Newcastle have made a new plea for help in their son’s battle for survival.

Four-year-old Kian Musgrove is currently in New York receiving pioneering treatment for neuroblastoma - a very rare and aggressive cancer.

But the family received a huge blow earlier this month, when they were told his body is rejecting the medication.

This means Kian will need MORE treatment but the money raised to fund it is running out.

Mam Kat says they're in desperate need of more donations.

"If a thousand people donate £1, that's £1,000 to help save Kian's life," she said.

"If this money isn't raised for Kian, the hospital have said they have to stop the treatment.

"So please, please - can you please help Kian?"

Kian, from Newbiggin Hall, was first diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma in October 2013.

Since then people from all over the world – including music mogul Simon Cowell - have helped raise more than £600,000 towards his treatment.

Kian said: "I want to have a good life."
