Disabled Gateshead pensioner Alan Barnes has met with the woman who set up a fundraising page after he was mugged.
The 67-year-old was attacked outside his home on Sunday (25th January).
More than £277,000 has now been raised for him, with the hope that he can move away from where it happened.
Alan has been afraid about returning to his home.
He’s now met with Katie Cutler, a 21-year-old mum who set up a fundraising site.
Alan was born with sight and growth problems, and suffered a broken collar bone when he was mugged.
He’s said he doesn’t know what he’ll do with the money, but says he won’t be wasting it.
