Callum Hopes To Be First In NE For Life-Changing Surgery
A 10 year old boy from Northumberland hopes to be the first in the North East to have an operation allowing him to walk.
Callum Brown has cerebral palsy and at just ten years old has had four major operations for his cerebral palsy.
Two years ago he raised £80,000 to travel to America for an operation which meant he can walk short distances.
But as he gets bigger Callum is in constant foot pain and now faces going back to using a wheelchair unless he can have an operation to get his heel cords lengthened.
His mum Sharon told Metro Radio:
"He has come so far and we just need to get this final hurdle to give him the chance to be like his friends and be pain free"
