Police searching for missing Ponteland woman Sally Allan have found a woman's body in the River Tyne.
Police searching for missing Ponteland woman Sally Allan have found a woman's body in the River Tyne.
At 1:07pm on Wednesday, February 3, a body of a woman was found in water near to Riverside Quay at Tynedock West in South Shields.
The body has been recovered from the water and enquiries are being carried out to identify the woman.
Although police can not confirm that it is Sally's body, her family have been informed.
