One Direction Top Under 30s Rich List With £60million Fortune
They brush aside Daniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson
One Direction have been named the richest British celebrities under the age of 30.
According to heat Magazine, since Liam, Niall, Louis, Harry and Zayn formed in 2010 they have amassed an estimated collective £59.33million fortune.
The boys knocked last year’s number one, Daniel Radcliffe, off the rich list summit. The Harry Potter actor is now second with a £56.18million pay-packet to himself.
Fellow actors Robert Pattinson (£44.16million), Keira Knightley (£37.28million) and Emma Watson (£27.93million) make up the rest of the top five.
Lucie Cave, editor-in-chief of heat commented: “One Direction are young, talented, staggeringly good looking and adored by millions. To that we can now add 'rolling in cash.' No one said life was fair."
Other big names inside heat’s Top 30 include Calvin Harris at eight (£22.2million), Jessie J at 28 (£5.68million) and JLS at 30 (£4.87million).
Music groups qualify for heat’s rich list countdown if their members haven’t released any solo music.
The rich list estimates earnings before tax is deducted and incorporates estimated money earned from TV shows, movies, record sales, ticket receipts, product endorsements and more.
The judging panel that decided the countdown featured entrepreneur Michelle Mone, PR guru James Herring and heat editor Lucy Cave.
The full list of the 30 Richest Celebrities under 30 appears in this week’s heat magazine on sale now (Tuesday).
