WATCH: The official John Lewis Christmas advert has landed starring Buster the boxer
It's finally here!
It's official, the 2016 John Lewis advert has finally landed, meaning the start of the festive season has begun.
It's been the talk of the nation over the last week or two, with millions trying to predict what the theme and song of this year's advert could be. And now it's landed, it certainly hasn't disappointed!
Retailer John Lewis posted the official advert this morning, starring a very cute and mischievous-looking boxer dog called Buster.
After rather sad adverts in previous years, it seems John Lewis hope to raise a laugh with viewers this year.
The advert tells the story of Buster the boxer, looking enviously on the neighbourd wildlife having fun on a trampoline, whilst he's stuck inside.
As daughter Bridget goes to bed for Santa’s arrival, her dad can be seen carefully building a brand new trampoline in the back garden. When Christmas morning strikes, Bridget excitedly runs outside to try her new toy, only for Buster to beat her to it…
The whole advert is accompanied perfectly by 'One Day I'll Fly Away', a Randy Crawford song covered by London electronic group Vaults.
It seems most people are loving the new ad, and many have taken to Twitter to congratulate the shop on its Christmas advert.
#BusterTheBoxer is now trending across social media!
