The film is based on legendary 1971 British series and is expected in cinemas early next year.
Bill Nighy takes on the role of Captain Mainwaring, Michael Gambon plays the blundering Private Godfrey. The brillaint Catherine Zeta-Jones, Blake Harrison from the Inbetweeners and Alison Stead from Gavin and Stacey are also joining the all-star cast.
The remake is being directed by BAFTA awarding winning Oliver Parker who has worked on St. Trinian's, Johnny English and The Importance of Being Earnest.
Dad's Army is in cinemas on 5th February 2016.
