WATCH: Birdy on her live show at The Magic of Christmas
She performed a stunning version of 'Walking In The Air'.
On 27th November, we put on a live Christmas show at the London Palladium, and spoke to the very talented Birdy after her spellbinding set.
Birdy performed two of her own songs, 'Wings' and 'Keeping Your Head Up', as well as a stunning version of the Christmas classic 'Walking In The Air'.
You could hear a pin drop as Birdy's ethereal vocals swept over the London Palladium. Needless to say, you all loved it too:
We got the chance to chat to Birdy after the show about her choice of Christmas song. She revealed that her take on 'Walking in the Air' was inspired by a piano piece she wrote when she was eight or nine, which people told her sounded like the original track.
We also found out a bit about Birdy's typical Christmas celebrations and what 2017 will bring for the 20-year-old singer, including a potential collaboration with Laura Mvula!
