You have to give your partner a present!

Published 10th Feb 2022

Having your birthday on the most romantic day of the year can be a bit rubbish at times! With Valentine's Day taking place on Monday 14th February, we've found all the reasons why it sucks to share your birthday with the 'most romantic day of the year'.

You'll certainly be able to relate to these at some point in your life if your birthday is on the most romantic day of the year...

1. It's everyone's day, not just your special day

2. Friends are always busy with their other halves

3. Dinner reservations are hard to get and expensive

4. You have to give your other half a present on YOUR birthday

5. Chocolate is not an acceptable birthday present

6. Neither are flowers from a petrol station

7. Red and pink aren't your favourite colour, but suddenly everything you get is red or pink

8. Your birthday gets forgotten, along with those who have birthdays at Christmas

9. Birthday parties on the 14th February are usually unheard of

If you do share your birthday with Valentine's Day, then Happy Birthday!
