Top 10 Bonfire Night Foodie Treats

Sparklers, rockets + pulled pork = Bonfire Night perfection.

Published 1st Nov 2016

Bonfire Night is all about the big warm fire, the shooting rockets and the sparklers. But what would all this be without a boozy hot chocolate and a pulled pork sarnie in hand?

1. Toffee apples

A Bonfire Night classic, toffee apples can be jazzed up with caramel and sprinkles, on top of the standard layer of toffee.

2. Hot dogs

Hot dogs are a great people-pleaser on 5th November. You can even glam yours up with rustic rolls and homemade BBQ sauce!

3. Ginger cake

A homely, comforting loaf with sticky orange icing. Goes down a treat with the neighbours!

4. Chocolate orange hot chocolate

Hot chocolate is an essential on a cold night, but it's even better with a bit of added flavour. And how about choc orange hot choc in an actual orange?!

5. Apple pie

A perfect sweet treat to take outside in slices. Why not take inspiration from this Instagram user and twist your pastry to really impress the guests?

6. S'mores

What's a firey night without melted marshmallows?! S'mores are a great alternative to the simple roasted marshmallows over the fire.

7. Bailey's hot chocolate

Like choc orange hot choc, but boozy. Bailey's has to be the perfect liqueur to give your hot chocolate an alcoholic kick!

8. Pulled firecracker brisket

This can be done with beef or pork for a lovely flavoursome meat dish. The seven-hour cook is definitely worth the flavour!

9. Cheesy sausage rolls

Easy, cheesy and incredibly tasty. Great for handing round as finger food!

10. Pulled pork

Add some coleslaw for a refreshing side, and your guests will be happy as larry.

Mmmm.
